The Osprey Nest Bed & Breakfast is located in the town of Invermere, British Columbia. Invermere is located at the north end of Lake Windermere in the Columbia Valley, which divides the Rockies and the Purcell Mountain ranges. Lake Windermere and the waters that feed it make up the headwaters for the mighty Columbia River - the third longest river system in North America.

Invermere is the commercial center for the Valley, serving towns to the north and south for 60 miles. It is located in the heart of the valley attractions and has its own charm and character. The downtown area is a mixture of interesting shops and boutiques, good restaurants, and all the services you’ll need on your vacation. 

A very scenic three hour drive from Calgary will bring you to the Columbia Valley and the town of Invermere. En route, you may want to consider a visit to the famous mountain resort town of Banff. Continuing on from Banff via the Parkway Highway (#93) takes you through the scenic Kootenay Valley . After passing Radium Hot Springs, you enter the Columbia Valley by passing through the narrow and spectacular Sinclair Canyon. Invermere is just 10 minutes from this Valley entrance.

The address for the Osprey Nest is 1601-4th Ave, although people in Invermere don't really use addresses so a better to find us is to ask where the public tennis courts are - we are across the street from them.

Driving directions: coming from the highway, go through town main street. Take the left after the "Quality Bakery" (which has a giant pretzel on top). Stay right to cross the bridge over the railway tracks. Take immediate Right turn after the bridge. We are the large white house on the left across from tennis courts.
